Arsenal are reportedly gearing up for a major summer swoop as they prepare a formal bid for top target, Crystal Palace’s midfield maestro Eberechi Eze, signaling their intent to bolster creativity ahead of the new season.

Eze, 27, has emerged as one of the Premier League’s most dynamic playmakers. His standout performances last season—most notably scoring the winner in the FA Cup final against Manchester City—have made him a hot commodity. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is said to admire Eze’s flair, line-breaking dribbles, and ability to unlock deep defenses.

Crystal Palace have placed a £60 million release clause on Eze, but Arsenal are exploring a structured payment plan to meet the valuation without triggering the clause in full. The proposed deal could involve three installments of £20 million, allowing Arsenal to stay within Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

According to the The Sun, Arsenal are considering a player-plus-cash offer, with young right-back Josh Nichols and possibly Jakub Kiwior being discussed as part of the package.

Eze is reportedly open to joining Arsenal, having previously named the club as his dream destination. Talks between Arsenal’s senior staff and Eze’s camp have already taken place, and personal terms are not expected to be a hurdle.

While Tottenham and Bayern Munich have shown interest, Arsenal appear to be leading the race. Arteta is keen to finalize the deal before the club’s pre-season tour, making this a pivotal week in negotiations.

Eze’s arrival would inject unpredictability and attacking spark into Arsenal’s midfield. He’s seen as a complement to Martin Ødegaard and Declan Rice, offering a more direct goal threat from central areas.
