Arsenal’s pre-season training has begun, with captain Martin Odegaard leading a group of ten first-team players back to training in north London. The group includes Ben White, Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, Fabio Vieira, Gabriel Jesus, Jurrien Timber, Karl Hein, Reiss Nelson, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Thomas Partey.
The players have undergone fitness assessments both indoors and outdoors under the guidance of Arsenal’s coaching staff.
Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, David Raya, and Declan Rice will join the team later due to their participation in the Euros final, missing the upcoming pre-season tour of the United States. Other players who participated in the Euros or Copa America are expected to return gradually over the next few weeks.
The team will fly to the US for their pre-season tour on July 23, with matches against Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Liverpool scheduled.
