Arsenal is poised for a substantial player clear-out this summer as Mikel Arteta targets four marquee signings in an effort to finally secure the Premier League crown.
Arsenal is gearing up for a busy summer transfer window, with manager Mikel Arteta planning to make significant changes to the squad. According to report from the Mirror, the Gunners are targeting four major signings while preparing to offload seven players to fund their summer spending spree.
Arteta is keen to strengthen his team in several areas, with a focus on bringing in a new striker, a defensive midfielder, and a goalkeeper. Among the potential signings, Alexander Isak from Newcastle United and Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig are top targets. Additionally, Arsenal is also interested in Martin Zubimendi, a highly-rated defensive midfielder from Real Sociedad, and Sverre Nypan, a promising teenage midfielder.
To accommodate these new signings, Arteta is set to make room in the squad by letting go of several players. Raheem Sterling and Neto, who are currently on loan from Chelsea and Bournemouth respectively, will not be returning to the Emirates. Thomas Partey, Jorginho, and Kieran Tierney are all out of contract and set to depart as free agents. Additionally, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Jakub Kiwior will be sold after falling out of favor.

The departures of these seven players will not only create space in the squad but also ease the wage bill, allowing Arsenal to pursue their top targets. Arteta is determined to make the necessary changes to end Arsenal’s more than 20-year wait for a Premier League title.
As the transfer window approaches, all eyes will be on Arsenal to see if they can successfully execute their ambitious plans and strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
