According to The Mirror, Arsenal are considering a move for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus, who is valued at around £90 million, as a possible replacement for Trossard.
Kudus is currently serving a three-match suspension after being sent off for violent conduct against Arsenal’s bitter rivals Tottenham. The 24-year-old scored the game’s first goal, but his effort was in vain as Spurs responded with four goals to comfortably win the London derby. The Gunners are said to be willing to spend up to £90 million to secure the services of the talented Ghanaian winger.
Leandro Trossard, 29, has been a key player for Arsenal, but his future at the club is uncertain due to interest from Al-Ittihad. The Saudi club had previously attempted to sign Trossard on loan during the summer transfer window, but their offer was rejected. Despite this, Al-Ittihad remains keen on acquiring the Belgian forward, and Arsenal anticipates another bid from the Saudi side.
Mohammed Kudus, 24, has been making waves at West Ham since joining the club from Ajax last summer. In his 55 appearances for the Hammers, he has netted 16 goals and consistently impressed with his performances. Arsenal has had a long-standing interest in Kudus and explored signing him before he moved to West Ham.
Kudus’ versatility as an attacking midfielder and winger makes him an attractive option for Arsenal. His ability to play in multiple positions would provide Mikel Arteta with more tactical flexibility and cover for Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal is not the only club interested in Kudus; Liverpool and Manchester City are also reportedly considering moves for the young star. West Ham values Kudus highly and would require a substantial bid of around £90 million to part ways with him. This could potentially lead to a competitive transfer battle among top Premier League clubs.
