Arsenal has reportedly reached out to Manchester United regarding a potential transfer for Marcus Rashford, according to reports in Italy. The Gunners are said to be interested in signing the English forward for a fee of around £20 million.

Rashford has expressed his desire to seek a “new challenge” away from Old Trafford. The 27-year-old has not featured for United since December 12 and was left out of four matchday squads by manager Ruben Amorim. His brother and agent, Dwaine Maynard, has been involved in talks with several clubs, including AC Milan, Juventus, and Como, but no agreement has been reached so far.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has emphasized the need for a player who can make an immediate impact on the team. Rashford’s versatility and goal-scoring ability make him an attractive option for the Gunners, who are looking to strengthen their attacking options.

Manchester United is reportedly open to selling Rashford this month but is demanding a fee of around €25 million (£20.9 million). The club is also insisting that any loan deal would require the buying club to cover over half of Rashford’s £325,000-a-week salary.

Arsenal’s interest in the forward highlights their ambition to strengthen the squad and compete at the highest level. Whether Arsenal can secure his services remains to be seen, but Rashford’s potential arrival would undoubtedly be a significant boost for the Gunners.
