Arsenal loanee Albert Sambi Lokonga is set to miss a month of action due to a mild hamstring injury. Lokonga, who joined Sevilla on loan earlier in the summer, had hoped for a successful campaign with the Spanish side. However, early injury has dampened those hopes.

The Belgian midfielder was absent from the Spanish club’s first three league games against Las Palmas, Villarreal, and Mallorca and would also miss their remaining friendlies against Fulham and Liverpool. The mild hamstring injury means he will be unavailable for the start of the Spanish league campaign, which kicks off on August 16th.

According to Vamos Mi Sevilla, Albert Sambi Lokonga, who missed Sevilla’s last friendly due to discomfort, sustained a mild myotendinous injury in his hamstrings.

The midfielder will miss the start of the league season and will be out for around a month due to this injury.
