Arsenal have made a move to strengthen their squad by showing interest in Palmeiras’ Vitor Reis, but the defender’s impressive skills have also caught the attention of other leading European clubs.

The Athletic reported that 18-year-old central defender from Palmeiras, Victor Reis, is emerging as a potential transfer target for Arsenal next summer. Reis has been making waves in the Brazilian top flight with his impressive performances, drawing attention from several top European clubs.

Reis has quickly become one of the most promising young defenders in Brazil, known for his technical skills, physical presence, and tactical intelligence. Since making his professional debut in June 2024, he has captained Brazil at the youth level and has been compared to established defenders like Marquinhos and Eder Militao.

Arsenal is not the only club interested in Reis; Real Madrid, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Barcelona have also been linked with the young defender. Palmeiras has a release clause of €100 million in Reis’s contract, which could make negotiations challenging.
