Arsenal’s title aspirations took a hit following their goalless draw against Everton at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The match ended 0-0, leaving the Gunners in third place in the Premier League standings, six points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand after the Merseyside derby was postponed due to adverse weather conditions last weekend.

The draw was particularly frustrating for Arsenal, who dominated possession but failed to convert their chances. Despite creating numerous opportunities, they couldn’t break through Everton’s resilient defense. This result comes on the heels of a previous draw against Fulham, meaning Arsenal has now gone three consecutive league matches without scoring from open play.

With Manchester City also within striking distance, the title race is heating up as the season approaches the Christmas fixtures. Arsenal will need to find their scoring touch and capitalize on their chances if they hope to challenge for the Premier League crown.
