Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing prolific Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, according to journalist Florian Plettigoal. Gyökeres has been in sensational form this season, netting an impressive 20 goals in just 16 appearances across all competitions.

The 26-year-old striker has a release clause set at around £55 million, but there is an understanding that Sporting CP may accept offers in the region of £60-70 million next summer. This makes Gyökeres an attainable target for several top clubs, including Arsenal.

Gyökeres’ remarkable performance this season has caught the attention of many clubs, and it seems Arsenal is particularly interested in bolstering their attacking options with the talented forward. His consistent goal-scoring record and ability to perform under pressure make him an attractive prospect for Mikel Arteta’s side.
