Arsenal are rumoured to be plotting a summer move for Liverpool forward Diogo Jota as they aim to improve Mikel Arteta’s attacking line.

Arsenal are reportedly considering a move for Liverpool striker Diogo Jota this summer as they look to bolster their attacking options. The Portugal international has been in fine form for Liverpool since joining from Wolves in 2020, and his versatility and goal-scoring ability have caught the attention of Arsenal’s recruitment team.

Since his arrival at Liverpool, Jota has scored 64 goals in 165 matches across all competitions. His ability to play both through the middle and out wide makes him an attractive option for Arsenal, who are keen to add further depth and flexibility to their squad.

Former Manchester United and Blackburn chief scout, Mick Brown, has revealed exclusively to Football Insider that Jota is on Arsenal’s shortlist. Brown highlighted Jota’s impressive goalscoring record and his potential to be a valuable addition to Mikel Arteta’s side. Arsenal is reportedly willing to make a significant bid for the 28-year-old, despite concerns about his injury record.

While Liverpool is reluctant to sell to a title rival, there are reports that the Reds might consider letting Jota go if the right offer comes in. Jota’s contract runs until June 2027, and he is valued at around €50 million by Transfermarkt.

Jota’s addition could provide Arsenal with a reliable goalscorer and a player who can link up well with teammates. His familiarity with the Premier League and his proven track record make him an appealing target for the Gunners as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
