Arsenal have reportedly decided to loan out Under-21s midfielder Michal Rosiak, with several Championship clubs showing interest in the talented youngster.
That is according to The Sun’s Alan Nixon, who say the Gunners are keen to secure him the regular first-team experience he would otherwise find difficult to come by in North London with Mikel Arteta’s team fighting to stay in the Premier League title race.
The Poland youth international, who joined Arsenal in 2018 and signed his first professional contract in April 2023, has impressed academy coaches with his performances.
Rosiak, known for his versatility, can play as a defensive midfielder or anywhere across the backline. This season, he has made eight appearances in Premier League 2, scoring twice, and contributed an assist in three UEFA Youth League outings. His strong performances have quickly risen him through the ranks to the Under-21 squad.
However, with Arsenal competing on multiple fronts and focusing on their Premier League title challenge, opportunities for Rosiak to gain first-team experience have been limited. As a result, a loan move has been identified as the best route for his development.
Blackburn Rovers are specifically interested in signing Rosiak on loan, having been impressed by his performances. The potential loan move is expected to be finalized in the upcoming January transfer window, allowing Rosiak to gain valuable experience at a competitive level.
