Sam Tickle, 22, has been a standout performer for Wigan Athletic. He made his first-team debut in the 2022/23 season and quickly established himself as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper. Last season, Tickle made 52 appearances in all competitions, keeping 18 clean sheets and earning the club’s Player of the Season award.
