Arsenal draw Brighton away in Women’s League Cup quarter-finals

Arsenal will face Brighton & Hove Albion away in the Subway Women’s League Cup quarter-finals.

Arsenal Women have been drawn away to Brighton & Hove Albion in the quarter-finals of the Women’s League Cup. The Gunners will travel to the Broadfield Stadium on either January 22 or 23, 2025, as they aim to defend their title and secure a place in the semi-finals.

If Arsenal successfully navigates past Brighton, they will face the winner of the Manchester derby in the semi-finals. The final will be held at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium on March 15, 2025.

Arsenal enters the competition as reigning champions, having defeated Chelsea in last season’s final thanks to Stina Blackstenius’ extra-time winner. The Gunners are the most successful club in the history of the Women’s League Cup, having won the title seven times.

Brighton & Hove Albion will be a tough opponent, but Arsenal will be confident in their ability to advance. The match promises to be an exciting encounter as both teams vie for a spot in the semi-finals.
