Arsenal are reportedly keeping an eye on Bayern Munich winger Leroy Sane, according to SkySportDe. The Gunners are keen to bolster their attacking options, and Sane has emerged as a prime target for the North London club.

Leroy Sane, who made the switch from Manchester City to Bayern Munich in 2020, has just one year remaining on his contract with the Bundesliga club and has yet to reach an agreement over an extension. Despite Bayern’s wish to extend his contract, talks have stalled. Sane’s preference is to stay in Munich, but the lack of a breakthrough in talks has sparked Arsenal’s interest.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who previously worked with Sane at Manchester City, sees the scenario as an opportunity. The Gunners believe they can secure the services of the winger if Bayern is willing to negotiate a transfer fee. Sane’s versatility and talent would add a new dimension to Arsenal’s attacking play.

Bayern Munich values Sane at around £54 million (approximately €64 million). But with the uncertainty around the contracts, Arsenal is expecting to get a deal for less. Reports suggest that a bid exceeding £40 million (€47.6 million) could tempt Bayern into selling.
