According to Fabrizio Romano, Sevilla has reached an agreement with Arsenal to sign Albert Sambi-Lokonga. The Belgian midfielder will join Sevilla on an initial season-long loan, with a buy option included in the deal, estimated to be worth €12 million.
Sevilla’s need for central midfielders is urgent, given their limited options for next season. Sambi-Lokonga’s arrival could relieve this dilemma, and if he maintains his fine form from his loan spell at Luton Town last season, Sevilla may exercise the buy option in 2025.
Whether he joins Sevilla or another club it remains to be seen, but one thing is certain, he has no future at Arsenal.
