Arsenal and Manchester United must compete with other clubs to acquire him, as Victor Osimhen is having a standout season on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli.

Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly among five European giants vying for the Nigerian forward’s signature, with his release clause set at £63 million. The competition is fierce, as clubs across the continent recognize Osimhen’s exceptional talent and potential to transform their attacking lineups.

Osimhen, currently on loan at Galatasaray, has been in scintillating form this season. The 24-year-old has contributed 26 goals and five assists in 30 appearances across all competitions, showcasing his clinical finishing and ability to thrive under pressure. His performances have reignited interest from top clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United, who are both in need of attacking reinforcements.

Arsenal, under Mikel Arteta, have been building a young and dynamic squad, and Osimhen’s addition could provide the cutting edge they need to compete at the highest level. Meanwhile, Manchester United, led by Ruben Amorim, are also keen to bolster their forward options after struggling for consistency in front of goal this season.

The race for Osimhen’s signature doesn’t stop with the Premier League giants. Barcelona, Juventus, and Galatasaray are also reportedly in the mix, according to Corriere dello Sport via Football Italia.  Juventus sees Osimhen as a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, while Galatasaray is eager to retain the striker on a permanent basis after his successful loan spell.

Osimhen’s current contract with Napoli runs until June 2026, but his future remains uncertain as multiple clubs prepare to make their moves. The Nigerian international has already proven his worth in Serie A, where he played a pivotal role in Napoli’s 2022-23 Scudetto-winning campaign, finishing as the league’s top scorer with 26 goals.

The race for Victor Osimhen is expected to heat up as the summer transfer window draws near. Arsenal and Manchester United will need to act decisively if they hope to secure one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers. For now, fans can only wait and watch as the drama unfolds.
