David had an impressive 2023/24 campaign with Lille, scoring 26 goals in all competitions. His goalscoring prowess have attracted attention from Europe’s elite clubs, with one year left on his contract, David could be available for a reduced fee of around £25 million.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is also considering selling striker Eddie Nketiah, who has drawn interest from Marseille.
Marseille is getting set to make a £25 million offer for Nketiah after expressing interest in the player earlier.

However, Arsenal value Nketiah higher than the reported £25 million offer and believe they can get a better offer and rates him far higher, at roughly £35–40 million.

The potential sale of Nketiah could generate substantial funds for David Jonathan transfer.
