Isak Focuses on Titles and Legacy at Newcastle

In a recent interview with Chronicle Live, Isak made his stance clear. “That’s why I came here,” he said when asked about fulfilling his career dreams in black and white. He joined Newcastle to compete for trophies and build his own legacy.

Isak’s contract runs until 2028. While no extension talks have started, he remains open to discussions after the season. “I’m happy here,” he said. “We’ve reached one final and now we’re in another. That’s what you want as a footballer.”

Arsenal Eyes Alternatives as Isak Stays Put

Isak continues to play a key role for Newcastle, helping the team reach cup finals and challenge for silverware. Ahead of the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool, he said, “I feel good. I’m excited but focused on the job.”

His commitment to improvement stands out. “I want to be the best version of myself,” he said. “It’s hard work, training, and the mentality to get better.”

Arsenal, meanwhile, is preparing for a major summer rebuild. With a £300 million budget and new sporting director Andrea Berta, the club is targeting top strikers. Alongside Isak, they’re tracking Benjamin Sesko, Diogo Jota, Joao Pedro, and Ollie Watkins.
