Arsenal faces the challenge of strengthening their squad, which means some players will have to leave to raise funds.

Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe, and Reiss Nelson are reportedly available on the market for the right offers. The club aims to secure good deals for departing players.

Some Arsenal players may think about going on loan elsewhere in order to safeguard their contracts. One player in this situation is Aaron Ramsdale. According to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth, a loan deal seems likely for Ramsdale.

Sheth, speaking on Sky Sports, gave the latest when it comes to the future of Ramsdale and it looks like at at the moment, a loan deal seems more likely.

“All options remain open regarding Aaron Ramsdale. His Arsenal contract is still valid for two years, with the option to extend for another year. However, he found his game time limited last season following the arrival of David Raya,” Sheth stated.

While Arsenal wants to retain him, they understand his desire for regular first-team football. Discussions about his future will likely occur after the Euros.

Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United for £30 million in 2021 but lost his starting position to David Raya. Arsenal has already made Raya’s loan move from Brentford permanent.

In addition to strengthening in other areas, Arsenal is rumoured to be close to signing Riccardo Calafiori. Other targets for the summer include a new midfielder and a striker.

The Gunners may have another hectic summer ahead of them.
