Paris Saint-Germain is prepared to make an offer of three players plus a cash payment for the talented Premier League player.

Arsenal’s hopes of securing the services of Newcastle United’s star striker Alexander Isak have taken a significant hit. The Gunners, who have long been linked with the Swedish international, now face stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), who are reportedly preparing a massive players-plus-cash bid to lure Isak to the French capital.

Arsenal’s interest in Isak has been well-documented. The 25-year-old striker has been in sensational form for Newcastle United, scoring 17 league goals this season and proving to be a key player under Eddie Howe. With Arsenal in desperate need of attacking reinforcements, Isak was seen as a top target for the summer transfer window.

However, Newcastle United have made it clear that they have no intention of selling their prized asset. Isak, who joined the club for a record £63 million, is under contract at St. James’ Park until 2028, further strengthening Newcastle’s stance on keeping him.

PSG, under the guidance of head coach Luis Enrique, are looking to bolster their attacking options and have identified Isak as a prime target. According to report from RMC Sport, PSG are willing to offer a substantial players-plus-cash deal to secure the Swedish striker. The French champions are prepared to include Goncalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Marco Asensio in the deal, along with a significant cash sum.

This ambitious bid from PSG has put Arsenal’s pursuit of Isak in jeopardy. The Gunners would need to match or exceed PSG’s offer to have any chance of landing the striker, which could prove to be a daunting task given the financial muscle of the Parisian club.

With PSG’s interest in Isak, Arsenal may need to explore alternative options to strengthen their attack. The Gunners have been linked with other strikers, including RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike. Both players could provide viable alternatives if Arsenal are unable to secure Isak’s signature.

Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, will need to carefully consider his options as the summer transfer window approaches. The club’s ability to compete for top talent will be crucial in their quest to return to the summit of English football.
