Arsenal aim to make a significant impact in the January transfer market, and one potential deal they could secure is for a highly-rated Bournemouth player to step in for the injured Bukayo Saka.
Arsenal is still hoping to make a big impact with new additions as the January transfer window heats up. One deal that could potentially be on the card is the acquisition of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth to replace the injured Bukayo Saka.
Saka’s absence due to a hamstring injury has left a noticeable gap in Arsenal’s attacking lineup. Manager Mikel Arteta is keen to address this issue and has identified Semenyo as a potential solution.
Arsenal have expressed interest in acquiring Wolves’ Matheus Cunha, but sources reveal to CaughtOffside that the Gunners have also identified Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo as a primary alternative to replace injured Bukayo Saka.

The 23-year-old Ghanaian forward has been impressive this season, contributing six goals and three assists in 21 appearances for Bournemouth.
Despite Bournemouth’s reluctance to part with Semenyo, valuing him at around £50 million, Arsenal remains determined to secure his signature. Semenyo himself is reportedly open to the move, eager to prove himself at a top club like Arsenal.
The Gunners are also exploring other options, including a potential deal for Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez to address defensive concerns with Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kieran Tierney, both of whom are expected to leave in the current window. However, competition from other clubs, including Liverpool and Tottenham, could complicate negotiations.
Arsenal’s pursuit of Semenyo highlights their intent to maintain a competitive edge as they navigate the challenges of Saka’s absence and look to strengthen their squad for the remainder of the season.
