Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri has expressed his delight after making his return from injury during the Gunners’ 3-0 victory over Dinamo Zagreb in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder had been sidelined for Arsenal’s previous five matches due to a muscle injury, but he made a strong comeback in the second half against Dinamo Zagreb.

Nwaneri replaced Raheem Sterling in the 58th minute and immediately made an impact. His performance off the bench was well-received by both fans and teammates, with many drawing comparisons to Arsenal’s first-choice right winger, Bukayo Saka. Nwaneri’s delivery into the box, in particular, was praised for its quality and precision.

After the match, Nwaneri shared his thoughts on his return, posting a red love heart emoji on Instagram alongside a picture of him back in action. The post received numerous likes from his teammates, including Saka, Declan Rice, and Gabriel Martinelli.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was also pleased with Nwaneri’s performance, highlighting the threat he poses to the opposition. “Great to have him back,” Arteta said at his post-match press conference. “He has been training really well the last few days, and you can tell straight away the threat that he generates.”

Nwaneri’s return is a significant boost for Arsenal as they continue their campaign in both the Champions League and the Premier League. With his talent and determination, the young Englishman is expected to play a crucial role in the team’s success moving forward.
