The Gunners secured a dominant win with goals from Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, and Odegaard himself, who netted the final goal in stoppage time. Arteta was particularly impressed with Odegaard’s performance, highlighting his determination and drive on the pitch.

“Martin showed that hunger and desire tonight,” Arteta told TNT Sports after the match. “You could see by the way he celebrated his goal that he really needed that. It was a fantastic performance from him, and I’m really pleased with his contribution.”

Odegaard’s goal came in the 91st minute, capping off a solid performance that saw him involved in several key plays throughout the match. The Norwegian midfielder has faced some criticism this season, but Arteta believes that Odegaard’s recent display is a step in the right direction.

Arteta added, “Martin has been working hard, and it’s great to see him get the reward for his efforts. He’s always pushing himself to be better, and that’s exactly what we need from our players.”

The victory not only boosts Arsenal’s chances of progressing to the knockout stages of the Champions League but also provides a morale boost as the team prepares for their upcoming fixtures. With a crucial month ahead, Arteta is confident that Odegaard’s performance will inspire the rest of the squad.
