Cunha, who has been in impressive form this season, has attracted interest from several top clubs, including Manchester United. Arsenal’s pursuit of the 25-year-old striker has intensified amid ongoing contract disputes with Wolves. While personal terms are not an issue, Wolves are demanding a fee in excess of Β£70 million, while Arsenal is only willing to pay around Β£45 million.

The situation has been further complicated by Cunha’s recent comments and actions, which have drawn criticism from his coach, Vitor Pereira. Despite the challenges, Arsenal remains hopeful of completing the deal before the transfer window closes.

Arsenal’s interest in Cunha is part of their broader strategy to strengthen their attacking options, with other targets like Benjamin Sesko also being considered.
