Ian Wright believes Raheem Sterling should consider joining another club as he doubts Arsenal will sign him permanently.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has voiced his opinion that Raheem Sterling should be considering his options for a new club. Wright does not expect Arsenal to offer Sterling a permanent transfer, given his underwhelming performance during his loan spell from Chelsea.
Sterling joined Arsenal on a season-long loan deal with hopes of reviving his career after being told to leave Chelsea by new manager Enzo Maresca. However, his time at Arsenal has been disappointing, with just three Premier League starts and one goal in 14 appearances.
Wright acknowledged a brief improvement in Sterling’s performance during Arsenal’s FA Cup match against Manchester United but felt it was not enough to secure a long-term deal. He suggested that Sterling might return to Chelsea, but with Maresca still in charge, his prospects there also look bleak.
Wright urged Sterling to find a new club where he can regain his form and confidence. He emphasized the need for Arsenal to make significant additions to their squad, especially in attack, to support manager Mikel Arteta.
