Following surgery to repair a muscle tear, the 23-year-old England international is expected to be out of action until at least March.

The 23-year-old England international has been sidelined until at least March following surgery on the muscle tear.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has advised Bukayo Saka to take a well-deserved holiday following his hamstring injury, which has ruled him out until at least March. Saka, who has been one of Arsenal’s standout performers this season, is expected to miss a significant portion of the campaign due to the injury sustained last month.

Arteta emphasized the importance of Saka taking a break to refresh and recharge. “He needs to,” Arteta said. “He is obligated to go, with his girlfriend, or his family, or on his own, he can choose. But he needs to get away for a few days and refresh. He can still do a lot of things with his rehabilitation because it is the perfect stage. It will make him better.”

Saka, who has played over 6,000 minutes in the Premier League over the past two seasons, has been a consistent performer for both Arsenal and England. Despite his injury, he attended Arsenal’s recent North London Derby against Tottenham, showing his support for the team from the sidelines.

Arteta’s decision to encourage Saka to take a holiday is seen as a way to ensure the young winger returns to full fitness and form without the risk of burnout. The break will also allow Saka to spend time with his loved ones and come back refreshed for the remainder of the season.
