Eintracht Frankfurt are negotiating to sign Arsenal centre-back Ayden Heaven.
Eintracht Frankfurt is reportedly in talks to sign Arsenal centre-back Ayden Heaven, according to multiple sources. The 18-year-old has been a standout performer in Arsenal’s academy and has recently caught the attention of Bundesliga clubs.
Heaven, who made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup tie against Preston North End in October, has been training regularly with the senior squad. Despite not yet signing a professional contract, his impressive performances have made him a key target for several top clubs.
Frankfurt CEO Markus Krosche confirmed the club’s interest in Heaven, stating, “We spoke to Arsenal. We try to sign him. He’s a really good prospect and we’ll see if we can find a solution with him.” The Bundesliga club is keen to secure his services, especially with his scholarship deal set to expire in the summer.
Arsenal is keen to keep Heaven, who has been part of the same academy group as Myles Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri. The Gunners are optimistic about reaching a deal but are aware that Frankfurt’s interest could lead to a competitive situation.
Heaven’s versatility and potential make him an attractive prospect for Frankfurt, and the club is hopeful of finalizing a deal before the transfer window closes.
