Arsenal closed to within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool after two goals in four first-half minutes inspired a 2-1 north London derby comeback victory against rivals Tottenham.

Tottenham took an early lead through Heung-Min Son, who capitalized on a corner to score with a deflected shot past Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya. The goal came as a shock to the home crowd, who had been dominating the early exchanges.
However, Arsenal quickly responded. Just before the half-time break, a controversial corner led to a goal for Arsenal. Declan Rice’s delivery found Gabriel, whose header deflected off Dominic Solanke and into the net. Four minutes later, Leandro Trossard scored from a tight angle to give Arsenal the lead just before the interval.
Despite dominating possession and creating several chances, Arsenal struggled to convert their opportunities. Kai Havertz missed two clear chances, and Martin Odegaard fired a good opportunity wide. Tottenham, on the other hand, barely threatened Arsenal’s goal, with Pedro Porro’s stoppage-time shot off the post being their closest attempt.
The victory means Arsenal have now won three consecutive North London derbies for the first time since 1989. The Gunners’ resilience and determination were key to their success, and they move back into second place in the Premier League table, four points behind Liverpool.
Tottenham, who have struggled this season, remain in 13th place with just one league win since November.
