Gabriel Martinelli shares a heartfelt moment with Ian Wright after scoring against Crystal Palace, thanking the Arsenal legend for his support.

Arsenal forward, Gabriel Martinelli recently revealed that he received a heartfelt message from Arsenal legend Ian Wright after scoring in the Gunners’ 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace. Martinelli, who has been under scrutiny for his performances this season, expressed his gratitude for Wright’s encouragement.

After Martinelli scored his goal, which came from a Declan Rice strike, he was interviewed on Premier League Productions where Wright was a guest. Martinelli took the opportunity to thank Wright for his recent message of support. “You have played the game. You know how tough it is to be on this side,” Martinelli said. “I’d like to say thank you for the message that you sent me the other day. It means a lot to me.”

Wright responded warmly, “It’s because I love you, Gabs. Martinelli reciprocated, “Love you, legend. Thank you.”

Martinelli’s form had been questioned by several pundits, including Paul Merson and Paul Scholes, who suggested that he was not living up to expectations. However, Wright’s message seemed to have a positive impact on the young Brazilian, boosting his confidence and helping him deliver a strong performance against Crystal Palace.

With Bukayo Saka expected to be sidelined due to injury, Martinelli’s role in the team becomes even more crucial. His recent goal and the support from Wright could be the catalyst he needs to regain his form and contribute significantly to Arsenal’s campaign.
