However, Arsenal quickly took the lead in the 7th minute when Katie McCabe’s corner delivery forced an own goal from Bayern Munich captain Glodis Viggosdottir.

Bayern Munich equalized before the break when Magdalena Eriksson scored from a corner, and they took the lead early in the second half with another goal from Eriksson, stretching to turn in Giulia Gwinn’s cross.

In the 85th minute, Arsenal was awarded a penalty after Tuva Hansen handled an effort from Mariona Caldentey. Caldentey stepped up and confidently converted the penalty to secure the win for Arsenal.
