Arsenal and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing West Ham United forward Mohammed Kudus, as reported by Spanish outlet Fichajes.

West Ham United are reportedly open to selling Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus if they receive a substantial offer. Arsenal has shown keen interest in the versatile player, but the Gunners would need to offload some of their current squad members to finance the deal.

Mohammed Kudus, who joined West Ham from Ajax last summer, has quickly become a standout performer. His ability to play across the midfield and attack, coupled with his knack for creating scoring opportunities, has caught the eye of several top clubs. With an impressive debut season that saw him net 14 goals and provide six assists, Kudus has proven his worth in the Premier League.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen on bolstering his squad with Kudus’ creativity and versatility. However, the Gunners face a significant financial challenge. Kudus is believed to have an £85 million release clause that activates in the summer, but Arsenal would need to meet this hefty price tag in January to secure his services early.

To make the deal feasible, Arsenal would need to sell some of their current players. This requirement adds another layer of complexity to the potential transfer, as the Gunners already have a relatively thin squad.

Arsenal isn’t the only club interested in Kudus. Liverpool and Newcastle United have also been linked with the Ghanaian international. Liverpool sees Kudus as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose contract expires in June. Newcastle United, despite financial fair play (FFP) concerns, is also keen on adding Kudus to their squad
