With just two minutes remaining in the match, Saka found himself in the perfect position to score his third goal of the night. However, as he fired his shot towards goal, the ball flicked off Kai Havertz and then Monaco defender Thilo Kehrer before flying into the roof of the net. Havertz claimed the goal, much to Saka’s amusement.

In a post-match interview with TNT Sports, Saka joked, “He [Havertz] got in the way!” Despite the missed opportunity, Saka remained positive and assured Arsenal fans that his maiden hat-trick is just around the corner. “Don’t worry, it’s coming. It’s coming,” he said with a smile.

The lighthearted moment showcased the camaraderie within the Arsenal squad and the playful banter that exists among teammates. Saka’s ability to laugh off the situation and focus on the team’s victory highlights his maturity and positive attitude.

With 20 goal involvements in 21 outings this season, Saka continues to be a key player for Arsenal. His performance against Monaco, coupled with his infectious enthusiasm, has Gunners fans eagerly anticipating his first official hat-trick for the club.
