The latest Arsenal injury updates ahead of their Premier League encounter with Fulham – following Mikel Arteta’s pre-match press conference.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on the fitness of defenders Gabriel Magalhaes and Riccardo Calafiori ahead of their Premier League game against Fulham on Sunday. Both players missed the 2-0 victory over Manchester United on Wednesday due to injuries sustained in the previous match against West Ham United.

Gabriel, who scored the opening goal in the 5-2 win over West Ham, was forced off at halftime due to an issue that has persisted since the Champions League game against Sporting Lisbon.

Calafiori, on the other hand, was substituted in the 56th minute of the same match and has been dealing with a knee injury since October.

Arteta mentioned that the final decision on their participation will be made after tomorrow’s training session. He stated, “Until we see tomorrow’s training session, it’s very difficult to say Let’s see how they evolve in the next few days.”

The absence of these key defenders means that Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko are likely to start again, having performed admirably in their recent appearances.
