Mikel Arteta is set to offload three players who have fallen out of favour from his Arsenal squad.

Arsenal are reportedly considering offers for three players as head coach Mikel Arteta looks to trim down his squad, according to Mail Online. The Gunners are said to be willing to listen to offers for Nuno Tavares, Marquinhos, and Fabio Vieira.

Nuno Tavares, currently on loan at Lazio, has impressed with his performances, particularly with eight assists in his first nine Serie A games. Arsenal is reportedly open to selling him permanently, even if Lazio does not trigger the obligation to buy.

Marquinhos, a Sao Paulo-born winger, has had uneventful loan spells at Norwich City, Nantes, and Fluminense. Arsenal signed him for Β£3 million from Sao Paulo in 2022, but he has only played six games for the club. The Gunners are now considering offloading him in the upcoming transfer window.

Fabio Vieira, who rejoined Porto on loan, has struggled to make an impact at Arsenal since his Β£34 million move from Porto in 2022. With only three goals in 49 appearances, Vieira’s long-term future at the club is in doubt, and Arsenal is open to selling him once his loan concludes.

Arteta, with the help of outgoing sporting director Edu, has built a deep squad over the past five years. However, some players have not lived up to expectations, and Arteta is now looking to streamline the squad to focus on key players and potential title contenders.
