Arsenal has been advised to consider signing Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez as they look to bolster their attacking options. Former Arsenal forward Jeremie Aliadiere views Darwin Nunez as his ideal forward and feels his former side lacks a striker who can run in behind. β€œI know he is at Liverpool but I am a massive fan of Darwin Nunez,” he toldΒ Football365. Absolutely mad fan of the guy because I love his work ethic, his runs, his determination and I wish we had a player like him at Arsenal.

“I remember in the summer, there were speculations of him joining Arsenal.” That excited me because I’d love to see him with us.

β€œThat type of player, keeps bothering defenders, making runs in behind, stretching the defence, even though it’s not for him, it’s for the team, the others get massive rewards from it.”

β€œI know people will say he needs five chances to score sometimes, he is not the best finisher, I am not bothered about this. For me, the effort and the work rate and the drama that he causes is worth everything.” He stated

We’re not sure most Arsenal fans would agree with that last statement, but this would certainly be an interesting move, even if it’s probably not that realistic.

Nunez, who joined Liverpool from Benfica in 2022, has shown flashes of brilliance but has also faced criticism for his inconsistent finishing. Despite this, Aliadiere believes that Nunez’s work ethic, runs in behind the defense, and overall determination make him an exciting prospect for Arsenal.

The Gunners have been linked with several strikers in recent transfer windows, including Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres, but Nunez’s potential move has generated significant buzz. With Kai Havertz currently leading the line and Gabriel Jesus struggling for form, Arsenal is in need of a reliable goal scorer.

While a move for Nunez would be ambitious, it could provide Arsenal with the firepower needed to challenge for major honors. The club’s management will need to weigh the pros and cons of such a transfer, considering Nunez’s mixed performances at Liverpool so far.
