Arsenal Women delivered an outstanding performance in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, securing a dominant 4-0 victory over Juventus on Tuesday, November 12, 2024. The match took place at the Stadio Comunale Vittorio Pozzo Lamarmora in Turin, and Arsenal’s win moves them up to second place in Group C.

Frida Maanum opened the scoring in the 38th minute with a well-worked team goal. Leah Williamson started the move, feeding the ball to Maanum, who flicked it around the corner for Caitlin Foord before continuing her run into the box. Foord played an inch-perfect return pass through for Maanum, who finished past Juventus goalkeeper Pauline Peyraud-Magnin.

Stina Blackstenius doubled Arsenal’s lead in the 74th minute with a powerful finish after a quick run into the box. Mariona Caldentey added a third goal in the 79th minute, hitting an emphatic finish from the edge of the box

Caitlin Foord capped off the scoring in the 86th minute, tapping home from close range with an assist from Kyra Cooney-Cross.

With this win, Arsenal remains unbeaten under interim head coach Renee Slegers. The Gunners will now face Tottenham Hotspur in the Women’s Super League on Saturday, November 16, 2024, before hosting Juventus again at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
