Arsenal is reportedly planning to make a major move for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic next summer as part of their efforts to strengthen their attacking options according to TEAMtalk. The team is aiming to compete for the Premier League title after narrowly missing out to Manchester City in the last two seasons. However, questions have been raised about whether their current strikers, including Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus, are prolific enough to compete with top players like City’s Erling Haaland.

Dusan Vlahovic, valued at €80 million, has emerged as a prime target for Arsenal. The Serbian striker, known for his physical presence and clinical finishing, has been on Arsenal’s radar for some time. The North London club closely tracked Vlahovic in January, but Juventus were unwilling to let him go. With his contract set to expire in 2026 and negotiations for an extension at a standstill, Juventus might be forced to sell him next summer.

Vlahovic is not the only striker Arsenal are considering. The Gunners have compiled a six-man shortlist of potential targets to strengthen their forward line. Alongside Vlahovic, the list includes:

Viktor Gyokeres: The Swedish striker was heavily linked with Arsenal in the summer but a move did not materialize. However, he remains a player of interest.

Jonathan David: The Canadian international from Lille has been in impressive form and is seen as a viable option.

Benjamin Sesko: The young Slovenian striker from RB Leipzig is another name on Arsenal’s radar.

Marcus Thuram: The French forward from Inter Milan is also being monitored by the Gunners.

Two other unnamed targets: Arsenal are keeping their options open and are scouting various talents across Europe.

Arsenal’s interest in Vlahovic and other top strikers has shown their ambition to build a squad capable of challenging for major honors. Arteta is looking for a prolific striker who can consistently score more than 20 goals per season, and Vlahovic fits that profile perfectly. The Gunners believe they can take advantage of Vlahovic’s contract situation, similar to how Liverpool secured Federico Chiesa from Juventus at a cut-price deal.
