Chelsea winger Noni Madueke believes Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka is better than Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Chelsea winger Noni Madueke made waves by claiming that Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka is superior to Barcelona’s teenage sensation, placing him above both Real Madrid’s Rodrigo and Lamine Yamal. This statement came during a segment called “Winner Stays On,” where Madueke was asked to choose between various football talents.

Madueke, who has been making a name for himself at Chelsea, didn’t hesitate to praise Saka. He highlighted Saka’s consistent performances and significant contributions to Arsenal’s success. Last season, Saka scored 20 goals and provided 14 assists in 47 appearances, earning him a spot on the 2024 Ballon d’Or shortlist.

When asked to compare Saka with Lamine Yamal, Madueke chose the Arsenal star without hesitation. Yamal, the 17-year-old prodigy from Barcelona, has also been impressive, contributing a goal and four assists in the early stages of the current La Liga season. Despite Yamal’s rapid rise, Madueke believes Saka’s experience and impact make him the better player.

Madueke’s opinion is particularly noteworthy given his background. Despite coming through the Tottenham Hotspur academy, he has shown a willingness to praise talents from rival clubs. In the same segment, Madueke also chose Saka over Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, though he conceded that Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah still holds an edge over Saka.

This endorsement from Madueke adds to the growing recognition of Saka’s abilities. Saka has already been referred to be “world-class” by legendary former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, and his presence on the Ballon d’Or shortlist solidifies his standing as one of the greatest young players in the world.
