The breakthrough came in the 31st minute when Martin Zubimendi smashed home a volley from the edge of the box. Noni Madueke’s corner was only partially cleared by Chris Wood, allowing Zubimendi to strike with precision past Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels.

Despite controlling 54% possession, Arsenal entered halftime with a narrow lead. Nottingham Forest failed to register a shot until stoppage time, offering little resistance.

Just 47 seconds after the restart, Arsenal doubled their lead. Eberechi Eze, making his full debut, sprinted down the left and delivered a pinpoint cross for Viktor Gyokeres, who tapped in from close range. It was Gyokeres’ third goal in two home matches, continuing his strong start.

In the 79th minute, Zubimendi completed his brace with a well-placed header from a Leandro Trossard free-kick. His performance earned man-of-the-match honors and capped off Arsenal’s third win in four matches.
