Juventus have reignited their interest in Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior following the loss of Jean-Clair Todibo to West Ham United according Calciomercato. The Serie A giants had been keen on securing Todibo from Nice, but the French defender opted for a move to the Premier League, leaving Juventus to explore alternative options.

Jean-Clair Todibo had been a long-term target for Juventus, with the club hoping to bolster their defensive line with his signing. However, West Ham’s late move proved too tempting for Todibo to resist. This unexpected twist has forced Juventus to pivot quickly in the transfer market.

Jakub Kiwior, has now emerged as Juventus prime alternative after losing Todibo. Kiwior, who joined Arsenal from Spezia in January 2023 for approximately £20 million, has shown glimpses of his potential but has struggled to secure a regular starting spot in Mikel Arteta’s side. His versatility and previous experience in Serie A make him an attractive option for Juventus.

One of the key factors driving Juventus interest in Kiwior is the presence of Thiago Motta, who previously managed the defender at Spezia. Motta, now at the helm of Juventus, is reportedly keen on a reunion with Kiwior. This connection could play a crucial role in convincing Kiwior to make the switch to Turin.

The Gunners would be open to selling the defender following the arrival of Ricardo Calafiori, Kiwior’s opportunities at Arsenal might be limited, making a move to Juventus a viable option for all parties involved.
