Thomas Tuchel named Myles Lewis-Skelly in England’s senior squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Albania and Latvia. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old full-back has impressed this season with consistent performances for Arsenal, earning his spot amid injuries to Luke Shaw and Lewis Hall.

Tuchel Fast-Tracks Lewis-Skelly to Senior Level

Lewis-Skelly previously featured for England’s U19s but will now bypass the U20s and U21s to join the senior team at St George’s Park. Tuchel praised the youngster’s maturity and confirmed that injuries and form influenced the decision. “He became a regular for Arsenal very quickly. He’s nothing but impressive,” Tuchel said.
